The Guilty Monkeys

So I'm Xyssify, and I'll be writing this blog together with Bokpandan, about our Nano journey 2012 (and now 2013). Amanda wanted me to do this part, the boring write-about-ourselves part. Or well, she'll be writing about herself so I actually don't need to do that very much.

I'm a Swede by birth (even though I have both swedish and polish Citizenships) and lived there until august this year. Now I'm living in Hamburg because of my dads new work yada yada, you get it. I have chinchillas and cockatiels, I like movies, books and games, and pretty much anything that you can do sitting down. Writing is something I enjoy alot, but I'm not that very good at it, and I'm a pro procrastinator so I usually don't get any results xD. This will be the first time at NaNoWriMo for me, so I have no idea how this will end.

And I'm Amanda (aka Bokpandan), who usually spends my time blogging about books and not writing them. But I dream of becoming an author at some point, so I really like writing. And I am so-so-so excited about "the Nano 2012 journey" as it is my first year too.

I also have two citizenships, Swedish and American, although the only thing I did to earn the latter was to be born there. You  probably already suspected this from my sort-of crappy English, but I only lived in the US for five years (from 0 to 5 years old) so I don't really have any special bilingual advantages from my childhood. But I've been going to international schools here in Sweden for some years now, so I hope my English isn't that bad atleast. 

I love movies, certain TV-series, books and nerding (and of course my guinea pigs, because they're just so effin' adorable) and I've been friends with Xyssify for years and we've been very close (always doing nerdy stuff, I think) until she left me and moved to Germany. I love her because she's awesome and I'm really looking forward to our NaNoWri month, I think it'll be great!

(and yeah.... I just went ahead and wrote a lot more than I should have had, but who cares, really?)
