Amanda's Novel.
This is my very first English Novel, so I think it's natural if it's not that good (maybe not story-wise but at least language-wise), but I'm not sure if anything is too good about it. I felt like sticking to something that was familiar to me, so the story is very Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy & Romance - Young Adult-ish. It's not that it's bad or anything, but it follows an already existing pattern, if you get what I mean?
It has a normal human girl (although she isn't exactly like the typical YA heroine) and then a supernatural admirer or love interest or whatever. But there is of course a lot of other mushy and nice (some not so nice) characters in there too!
Anyway, here is a sort of summary of the story:
Ellery is a Tinder sent to the human world to watch over a boy named Aubree. That's how he gets to know Cadence, a strange human girl who he can't help but fall for. But he's already betrothed to Autumn, a fierce and jealous Tinder girl. And then there's Cadence mysterious new friend, Skylar. Who is she and why can she see the Tinder?
I know that this doesn't sound too good at all, but I suck at writing summaries of stuff, I admit it. Anyway, I thought I should explain some things in this confusing plot - what is a Tinder? Well, it's some sort of fairy/supernatural being, that is very much like humans only that they're... fairies. Obviously. So, they look mostly human, except their ears are a little pointier and they've got some magical kind of air around them.
Another thing I failed explaining was that humans can't see Tinder. This is partly to help the Tinder in their work as "guardian angels" but also because humans are protected from the knowledge of all the supernatural beings that used to roam the earth. And that's why Skylar is a little fishy, because she can see Ellery.¨
Oh and I really wish that I had some cool cover for the story, but um... no, I don't :)
